My name is Angelo I've fixed about 4-5 xboxs with the simple xclamp fix but now i have just recently purchased an xbox off craigslist for about $50 and upon opening her up i noticed the penny fix now I'm going to do the electric oven reflow tutorial but i need to know instead of using some pennies wrapped in electric tape (just doesnt seem rite to use them)

you mean the pads? You don't need them, actuly didn't ms stop using them with the newer 360s?

Ye they stopped using em again but that was just to save money I think, so far M$ tries to fight the ROD problem were mostly epic fails anyway...
Wont hurt to leave them away the RAM will just run a little hotter.
