Forum rules

Xbox-Forum is not responsible for any transactions, or any actions of it's members in this forum whatsoever!

Anyone choosing to conduct any sort of transaction with another member on XF does so at their own risk and expense.

As individuals, you need to take responsibility for your own actions, and you need to take responsibility for the fact you are dealing with strangers on the internet. Xbox-Forum is not a professional sales service and is provided free and without any kind of warranty. We also will not immediately ban people because you claim they ripped you off.

If you are ripped off, the only thing you are allowed to do on XF is to report it in the thread of the seller/buyer/trader once. Alternatively you can make a note in your signature stating your grievance with the user. What you cannot do is spam other XF forums with your complaints. Do not make threads complaining about transaction that have gone bad. If you are to do this, you will receive a warning. If it continues you will be temporarily disallowed to post, and if it still goes on you will be banned. Please contact staff with any serious issues.

Xbox-Forum does not recommend or endorse the use of the XF BST forums unless you are willing to take responsibility for your own actions and assume all risks. We do however recommend that people who wish to assume that risk should research the people they are dealing with, and alternatively search out and use professional sales forums. Always ask for a way to check for legitimacy.

Feel free to list your Xbox or Xbox item for Buy, Sell or Trade. Others can feel free to offer any number of legal items (under the XF rules of course) or cash in trade. What people cannot do is start new thread and offer non-xbox items. These threads will be locked and deleted.

Getestore and Similar “store” commissioned pre-made store type concepts will not be allowed. Any products offered for sale should be in direct possession by the seller. Any new post in any of the BST sales type forums on XF must list the products and merchandise in their entirety in the post on XF. XF sponsors are the only exception to this rule. The items listed in any sales thread or posted on XF must actually be in the possession of the person(s) listing it for sale or trade. Selling items for a 3rd party business via a commission based "Ready Made Internet Store" does not constitute owning the stock, and will result in a closure of the thread. We want members to be directly accountable for any actions/tractions they conduct on our site.

Please do not start threads asking "what can I get for 5$, 10$ etc" as staff will close them. If the action is repeated, consequences will come into action. When making a new post, either Offer to sell a product, or trade a product. If you want to buy something, go into an existing thread and make an offer on a product or service.

You are allowed to buy/sell/ trade Xbox Live accounts. We have a given system for this to prevent fraudulent transactions. If this system is not followed, the thread will be deleted and the seller will be warned.

XF will not delete threads on demand. You can request it be removed/made invisible but it will stay open for 30 days if you do so, allowing those you have serviced can comment, communicate, and / or complain or raise issues. We can make some requested edits of info you posted, however, we will keep it on file.

Hey guys, I made up a PCB for a USB SPI programmer used to install the jtag exploit. (its similar to using the parallel port but much faster, 16MB dump in 6minutes. and more reliable)
Is anyone interested in them if I get some boards produced? at the moment they are all through-hole, but SMD version might be produced also.
I could sell PCB's, kits or fully assembled boards. depending on interest. fully assembled I am thinking probably around $35

Check http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=12306.0 and http://www.free60.org/ for more info on the USB programmer and info on the jtag hack

here is the test board.

Alright, cool I will look into getting PCB's manufactured, but with less than 10 it would probably be more cost effective to make them myself. any objections?

I'll probably buy one too, and no objections to you making them. They look good already. :P

OK, hehe its almost the same price to get 10 produced as it is to get 30 (difference of $3 :o ), so I will get 30 PCB's made. will take around two weeks. and it will probably be in SMD, not through hole like in the picture. depending on which parts are more cost effective. I will order in the next few days, as soon as I design another PCB for SMD

is everyone happy with a row of header pins like in the above image? that way to connect it up you can just use every 2n'd wire in an old floppy drive connector or something. or just an unpopulated set of holes so you can solder wires directly to the PCB?

And what are your preferences with the connector? USB type B like in the image above, or a mini-USB socket?

I like the header pins, that way it stays nice and neat. I'd like a mini-usb too, I have so many of those cables laying around....
