A friend of mine asked me to repair his xbox. It had 3 rrod with 0020 error code. When i checked the inside i saw that some of the tiny little things beneath the cpu/gpu have fallen of. Is this console beyond repair or is there any way to fix it?
are u talking about the solder balls underneath the chip?if so thn its toast and will need reballed

No, not those, there are really lots of them and a few are missing The really tiny things, they are under beneath the cpu and gpu

You're talking about capacitors I think. If you can harvest some from another console and solder them on, then you might be able to salvage it. But that will be a pretty difficult fix.

Yeah, those are caps. Take some pictures of the underside so we can see what exactly is missing.

i commonly don't cheap swtor credits do the bake because it requires so a lot time. but im a believer now! booted appropriate up soon after about a few of along with a half several hours inside the oven at 170 F
