I would like to inform all forum members and advise them not to buy from this seller.

I have recently bought the "Arcade Package" listed here... but it seems that it's not the whole package. The package arrived without the controller. And after contacting them they insisted that the controller is not included in the package. I had also asked via e-mail what the package included and it was listed.

Now he also said it was a "mistake" writing it here as well.

it does say free wireless controller,at the end of the sentence advertising the arcade console!

As discussed with the purchaser - the mistake was made, and duplicated. For which we have apologised unreservedly.

A full invoice (with goods being purchased, with no mention of Wireless XBox 360 controller) was sent via PayPal to the customer, and settled within 24 working hours.

Upon hearing of the mistake this morning, we have offered to provide the wireless controller, however, we are requesting that a payment of £9.13 (for the initial console shipment) be made. We are also offering another wireless controller at £19.99 including free postage on top.

We are disappointed that this customer was not happy with their purchase. We were offering these consoles at £139.99 - I would ask anyone to find a console, brand new, any lower than £119.99 (which puts the flashing and delivery at just £20.00 - a bargain in anyones eyes).

The console was also shipped out to Malta - we would normally reserve our offers to UK residence only, perhaps this should have been made clear. We originally quoted at £49.00 shipping, but our couriers price had gone up by £9.13 subsequently, when the order was placed - a fee we have agreed to absorb.

Again, we always aim to ensure our customers are happy with their purchases, and do our very best, within the realms of not losing money, to ensure this is the case. I feel in this instance, we have done exactly that.

Since the wireless controller was claimed to be included in the package for free its quite clear that it is not listed on the invoice yet it must of course be included in the package like was agreed on already.

The fact that you are usually only shipping to the UK is a reason that you might not have known how much shipping to Malta would be, yet if you didnt charge that much in the first place this is not the customers fault.
Also you shouldnt be punishing him even more by demanding the non-disclosed expenses from the first payment.

Resending the controller to him free of charge and without any further delay should be the standard in my opinion, even if you make a loss because of that in the end it shouldnt be anything the customer should have to worry about since he didnt make the mistake...
If I was you I would send the controller asap, this post on here will cost you way more money than loosing the 9 GBP for the shipping...

That's exactly my point.

I had asked the seller the exact cost of shipping - therefore since I payed the cost I was told that shouldn't be an issue. Now if the price had changed he should have listed that before actually sending the invoice.

Second, he says that the controller wasn't listed in the invoice or site. But first of all I had once again asked specifically what the package include as the site only said Console and I wanted to make sure it was actually the arcade package cause if not I wouldn't have bought it. And on top of that, the a/v cables and power brick were not listed on invoice or site. Does that mean I'm lucky and should be thankful i got it free? No. I expected them because I had asked what the package contained.

I didn't want to do this but I tried other means. I had talked to him via msn and e-mail. All I wanted is that either the controller was sent free of charge (as you also stated) or that I would be refunded the cost of the controller. For some reason he doesn't see that as fair.

And just a note of caution to others: Paypal only covers the shipping aspects of the transactions. When escalating to a claim it was automatically closed. Nice protection there paypal!

i agree with wilhelm,even if the controller was a mistake listing,the seller should honor wht was said thn go bak and edit the mistake... since its not the buyer who messed up,it was the seller so... the seller needs to honor

Ended up buying a controller off ebay.
